Mercy was relaxing a little bit, enjoying the moment that she had, it was dark, very dead but she liked it. She stuck her hands in her pockets and sighed some, her eyes scanning the area, she grinned softly. She did not plan on be with the other humans, she wouldn't fight. Mercy's goal was to be more then a slave but to be a friend perhaps. She wasn't afraid to die but wanted to find her place in the world, she walked humming to herself.

He was far off, away from his castle. Where exactly was he, he knew perfectly well. Strolling through the woods, he stopped at the scent of a human. Did she have a palace to reside in, or was she a wondering rogue? Well, he had a hunch that if she was a wondering rogue, she'd deserve being one, and did something to have been kicked out of her kingdom she was welcome to reside in.
Then again, she could be out this far, in the dark woods all by herself, and be happy within a kingdom. It was possible, for these were great lands to enjoy oneself upon. Decisions, decisions, he walked towards her, clearing the thicket of things between them, with a small, warning smile upon his face.
"Hello mortal." He spoke casually, walking up to her. "Where, may I ask, do you reside?" The words were a casual question, formed in his lips, and issued into the air itself. The small smile dropped from his face, as he waited, feeling a very low wing pushing against his back.

Mercy stopped dead hearing a voice behind her, she felt the wind against her face and sighed softly, everything seemed to stop moving with the voice behind her, she turned around slowly and saw a demon, her eyes went down to the ground as she knelt down before him her hands to the ground. "I really reside no place my lord ive been trying to find a reason to live really, but with what my beliefs are my own kind do not like me to much"

A smile faded onto his lips, stuck in the passages of the face itself, unable to be set free. Hands riased to the face, cupping the chin so that it could no longer run free, as a mind thought it all over. He could offer her a home, a safety from the wilderness, but there was not guarantee that she would appreciate it, accept it, for be true to it within the confines of it all. And yet, he saw no reason not to, her nature at hand pursuing a pretty wise human, and one would knew how to properly speak, probably having that coupled with a set of manners all around, not only in dialect itself.
Then he smirked, a lighthearted one that showed nothing bsad, but that a decision, usually for the better, had been reached. He turned fully upon her, really taking in her appearance now with his eyes, then issued words from his lips. "Would you be looking for a home, perhaps?" He was not the kind to try and force a human into the slave life, for doing that could provoke them more, nor was he one to punish a rogue human for being, or wanting to stay, a rogue. There was a vast wilderness, impossible to try and contain, to do that for him. What was her choice, was it. If she signed up willingly, she would be saved from all the ones that'd pursue, in worse ways, after her. Simple as that. He was, in all respects, a kind ruler.

Mercy slowly stood looking at him, he seemed kind, everyone that was a demon was supposed to be some horrible monster, she knew that slaves were becoming every single day, a kind smile seen, she sighed softly, as she began to see clearly for the first time in a long time she gave him a kind smile, she nodded.
"Yes I am" She spoke kindly holding a respectful tone "I know what that would mean my lord, some humans maybe stupid but I am not, id rather be a slave then to be out in this bitter hell, im not one for the cold" She gave a very weak smile and sighed softly, perhaps things would be ok, she wasn't the kind of person that would think badly of anyone she was willing to do anything to get out.

He nodded, as he listened to her. Analyzing in his mind, he further proved herself a worthy slave, least she prove him wrong later in the long run. "Very well, you can work directly in my castle if you'd like." The offer was made, a high offer in that, offering her a front row seat to the safest place to be within his kingdom. and many, including demons alike, would usually love to be underneath the roof of the great place, even if the servants didn't always willingly admit it, or took it for granted within themselves from all the years of working hard in the castle itself. There was, though, no reason one shouldn't like being in the castle. He only hoped, never guaranteed to himself, that she would accept it.

Mercy smiled at what he said, she bowed her head in thanks "Id be honored to my lord" she said kindly, a gentle look on her face she sighed happily "I wont give you a problem, I appreciate your offer" She knew some would see her as very crazy but hey she didn't mind working, she wasn't exactly sure what would be asked of her but she wouldn't fight.

The dark trees swayed aimlessly in the background from a small wind, as he gave a quick nod of his head. He had no doubts that she would be of any trouble to him, but the more common, slight slight doubts that most had for years after knowing even their closest friends, because she seemed honest enough. Still, he would be sure for the first have to be a little careful, for his kingdom's sake and nothing else. No one knew where spies lurked out, and what kind would appear before your very eyes. "Very well you'll help keep the whole palace clean, head to toe. At least, for a start. You can have a three day adjusting period before you have to start with the rest, if you'd like." He informed her.

She smiled "All I need is one day to rest, I do not need three days, ive been living in hell for 3 years so anything you have to offer is enough to keep me going" She said kindly looking around and sighed some, looking up at the sky she felt something coming, a storm perhaps? Running her hand down the side of her face thinking, what some didn't know was she knew how to sing, something calm and perfect she couldn't help but hum a small melody but when she realized she was doing it she stopped feeling it was disrespectful.

He nodded in responce, with a light smile upon his face. "Very well, you have a day, to three incase you end up wanting to take3 up the three day offer. Shall we head off, then?" He asked, ready to lead her back to the castle, should she be ready to head there promptly. She'd, of course, be staying within it itself, as a personal slave of his own, or as he preferred to refer to it as, a servant, and that was a agreement. Personally, he never saw the point in servants running away, not if they found a caring owner, especially with the security just staying in a place offered, and found this to be a rather smart one. Still, he wondered why she'd not already been a loyal servant to somewhere within a place, though now she was...
